Twin Waters Valentines Day Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

You will no doubt recognize Nadine & Cameron from their Love-Shoot posted here.  The date was set more for necessity than valentine sentiment -  two of the bridesmaids were taking off overseas for a couple of months. Would you believe a 5am flight awaited them the next morning - South Amercia. A beach ceremony was planned though the rain had other ideas….. Instead a new section of the Twins Waters Golf Club proved to be just perfect for the ceremony.

Julie-Anne & her team from Cloud Nine did a stella job styling the venue.

Kylie-Jane worked her magic for Nadines make-up while Sandy and her girls (Rolling Scissors) looked after their hair.

We zoomed around on the buggies, the boys had a swing and the girls were gorgeous. I always tell brides don’t be scared of clouds and rain - and these images show exactly why. All brides are radiant though you must admit Nadine is absolutely beaming - so easy to photograph - they both smiled, giggled & laughed the entire day.

Nadine and Cameron just returned from their honeymoon in Fiji - a little depressing having to return though stoked to see the photographs. Thanks soooooo much guys - brilliant day.

Karina & Clinton - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Well I have to share this most divine wedding from last month - have already updated my website with some images - just trying to find time to catch up with this blog. These guys have travelled the world and pretty much organized their special day from Lizard Island before moving back to the coast.  I feel so honored to call Karina & Clinton friends - sweetest nicest coolest awesome couple. Just loved the intimate nature of their wedding - which focused on an incredible venue, superb food, good wine and great company - sounds corny but they so pulled it off I didn’t want to leave. So my main girl Trish from TF Make-up did outstanding work as per usual. The Rolling Dolmade the only choice for Karina for catering - just sublime. And Clinton’s Dad, a renowned chief supplied a very impressive range of wines - I had to photograph labels separately! We headed down to Coolum Beach after lunch for a few images. Thanks guys for trusting me with your special day.

And just in case you were wondering or not sure YES Karina is pregnant - rather was - little gorgeous Sasha entered the world 2 weeks ago…. Of course I will post her images soon I promise.

Mercury Workshop - Brisbane

So yesterday fellow coast photographer Leanne and I travelled to Bris Vegas to attend a business workshop with the 2008 Canon Australian photographer of the Year Mercury Megaloudis. You would go just for the name….. It was an inspirational workshop focussed on giving your business a kick in the butt. He covered doing great business in bad times, marketing, studio operations, branding, style and much more. Mercury has a great positive outlook on everything not just photography and he is falling over himself (literally) to share with fellow photographers.  A couple of his award winning images below - if you ever get the chance to attend a Mecury Megaloudis Workshop - don’t hesitate.

Helena & Dan - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Trying very hard to catch up on the blog posts - just designing Helena & Dan’s Album so a quick break to post some of their fav images from the day. Awesome couple with an awesome bridal party - we had such a great day - I really enjoy getting to know everyone and having a good time. Married at Tranquil Park, Maleny, by the ever talented Darienne Davis (celebrant). It was a dark stormy day though it held off until the reception was well under way.

Engagement Session - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Well as Nadine & Cameron are to be married this weekend I think it is more than appropriate if not a necessity to post these gorgeous images of them. Hiding as I say this - we shot this session last October - naughty naughty yes I know. These guys are seriously love-struck - just so cute to watch and they are soooooo genuine I can’t wait for Saturdays big event!!!!!

Yesterday I spent the day in Bris Vegas attending HOTD (Hair of the Dog) an annual 3 day AIPP event. A range of inspiring speakers to choose from as well as catching up with fellow photographers. A few Sunny Coast peers attending as well - strangely enough all females………

Installing a Husband - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Thought this was good for a laugh!!!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend.
INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0  and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate.

DEAR DESPERATE,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the  Guilt 3.0 update.

If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0  should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to  Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0  ;program. These are unsupported applications and will crash  Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and    Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck !

Lost my blog - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Yes I inadvertantly lost my posts on this new blog - not deleted - just disappeared. So I am going to re-post recent sessions into groups - weddings, portraits, business, family - rather than individually. Have to start with family of course - thanks for taking the time to view these again my loyal followers.
