Maternity Session - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Lucky enough to spend some time with Sharon & Scott - new parents to be. She looks fabulous with only 4 weeks to go. Of course Scott just can’t wait to be a Dad - though has his graduation from the Police coming up also - nice and busy. Thanks so much guys I really enjoyed the session - too cute together you are!!!!

Coolum Elopement - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Can’t say how much I enjoyed this mid-week elopement!!!!! Ursula & Phil who live down the Gold Coast had a gorgeous afternoon. Picture Perfect as the saying goes. Merlin Coughlan performed this unique ceremony on the rocks at Coolum. Only Ursula’s son and 4 friends were there to share their special day. They were very clear on the style of images they wanted - Phil is a graphic designer and very talented artist while Ursula is a journalist/photographer for ABC radio. Ursula was very excited when she realized it was a full moon - the vows and the location was all about them and their affinity with nature. Thanks so much - some of my favourite images to date.

High Tea Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

What a fabulously creative and sentimental wedding this was. You may recognize Claire and Tim from their Love Shoot here. They decided to have the Love Shoot in their new home in place of photos on the wedding day - but loved the images and then decided to book me for the wedding. I cannot image this not being captured. Small intimate affair held at Claire’s parents home with the ceremony across the road in the park on the water. Claire created all the details and styling for a personalized High Tea. Have included a lot though not all the finishing touches. The Photo Booth was a huge success - great memories. Claire wore her grandmothers post war wedding dress (some alterations) and she looked stunning. Make-up by Make-up 4 brides and ceremony performed by Libby Urban. Thanks so much guys - it was pure joy to capture your celebration.

Sanctuary Forest Glen Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

You may remember Chloe & Dan from their very cool Love Shoot here. What a great day we had for their  wedding. Have included Chloe’s return email to me after viewing her images for the first time. Have listed some of her wedding suppliers for those interested but of course it is all about the images - please enjoy. Thanks soooo much again for having me - felt like I was at my very good friends wedding.

Dearest Jodi,

Where do I start?? We just wanted to just send you a short note to say a HUGE thank you for your amazing work on our wedding day. Not only were our photo’s exactly what we wanted, they truly captured the essence of our day. Never before have I seen such beautiful pics of my harsh old dad…you definately beat him Jodi….there were so many stunning and meanigful images I found myself crying with joy while looking through them. Not only were our images fun & elegant they were also full of love….something that I’d been worried may not have been portrayed with a bridal party who all dreaded photographs! You provided truly a spectacular service (were so easy to work with) and you left us with amazing memories. Thank you so much again, I’m keeping your number for our friends and a baby shoot, whenever that day may come!

Best wishes and sincere thanks,
Chloe & Daniel Cope

Newborn Noah - Sunshine Coast Photographer

I photographed Summer & Jay’s wedding in Brisbane in the dinosaur age (yes film) which was only 2005 - but seems so long ago now. A couple a scans from their gorgeous day to set the scene for the arrival of their firstborn Master Noah. He was very keen to meet them and arrived 5 weeks early - 7 weeks old at the session - though 2 weeks in gestational terms. Anyway he is absolutely gorgeous and thriving - mostly on the love from Mum & Dad. Gave Summer a little swaddling lesson and he settled and slept straight away - though HATED the idea of nothing on hence struggled with some of those arty/nude images. I think we truely captured his personality - had no problems making eye contact with the camera - how cool are some of these images - the last is undoubtedly my favourite from the session. So honoured Summer & Jay choose me to capture this special time for them - thanks guys.

Ebb Restaurant - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Let me introduce the gorgeous Rav and ultra-cool Ryan!!! Seriously these guys were a breath of fresh air - got ready together, had their photo session before the ceremony, entered the ceremony together, raffled off the witness duties and basically had the day they wanted without the constraints of tradition and convention. LOVED IT. Though they did return to Sydney for a huge Indian Wedding 2 days after before jet setting around the globe to Canada. Ryan is a bit of a photographer himself - which is great because he knew what I was up to (most of the time).

Ebb is a stunning venue for both ceremony and reception. Miss Trish from TFMakeup excelled again alongside Miss Sandy from Rolling Scissors - always stunning results. Melissa from Flourish Design created the visually unique bouquet and centerpieces. Celeste Frances Scott conducted a beautifully personal ceremony. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of this wedding and capturing a glimpse of this gorgeous couple - thanks guys it was a privilege.

“Dear Jodi, Thanks for being such an awesome photographer to work with. You made it easy and a lot of fun. We were both so relaxed around you and I think this shows in the photographs.” Ryan & Rav

Cotton Tree Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Finally posting Natasha & John’s gorgeous wedding day - you may remember them from their Love Shoot here. Kylie-Jane did a great job with the make-up, Bill Scurry conducted a fantastic ceremony (as per usual) at Cotton Tree jetty before lunch at Platinum. I scooted home for a break and returned for their departure via boat for some pics at the Maroochy River mouth. Stunning afternoon as you can see. They were then ferried across the mouth to Twin Waters (quite a bit of spray and Natasha said they were quite wet by the end of  it!!!!).  Love these intimate though casual affairs - I really had a great time and think the images reflect their day perfectly. Thanks again for having me.
