Little Jazz Graduates…………

Had an unexpected trip to Sydney last week and desperately trying to catch up. My niece Jasmine has also just graduated like my Danica. The girls have grown up together and I still call her ‘little Jaz’ which she pointed out the other day. Gorgeously stunning is probably an understatement - besides the fact she is a really good kid as well. Congrats to you all!!!!!!!!!

Danica’s Formal Crew - Sunshine Coast Photographer

So my Neeka has just graduated from High School and celebrated with a fantastic group of friends. Yes the boys thought it would be cool with the different coloured suits (which were a hit on the night) while the girls all looked stunning. For Neek it was all about the shoes (I certainly wouldn’t go there) and she used my mothers handbag (from out of the dress-up box) for a little vintage look - SHE IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS if I do say so myself. Miss Trish from TF Makeup kindly lent her talents - thank you. Congrats guys - you deserve it.

My kids on film - Sunshine Coast Photographer

So I grabbed my EOS3 and dusted her off before loading some gorgeous fuji film. This camera was very new when I changed over to the dark side (digital) and just couldn’t justify selling it for some reason (I now know why). These are pretty much SOOC (levels only) - love love love the colour almost as much as I love my kids………….

Misty Love Shoot - Maleny Photographer

Can’t believe we were worried about the clouds…………….. One of my all time favourite sessions - Rebecca & Aaron’s gorgeous Maleny Manor wedding is coming up soon.

Birthday Girl - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Been trying to get here all day - my Jene turned 9 today. She is just a gem of a child and we love her to death. The colour images below are part of an Art assignment my eldest daughter Danica took a couple of months ago - I think she has a pretty good eye! Happy Birthday Gorgeous Girl.

Vietnamese Tea Ceremony - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Travelled down to Bris Vegas to capture Angela & Anthony’s Vu Quy Ceremony- wedding to follow soon. Such a warm welcome I was given - it was a great morning. A quick rundown of what is involved:

1. Anthony’s family forms a procession down the street carrying gift trays with Angela’s family welcoming them in front of the house.

2. Anthony’s Dad asks permission to enter and are welcomed - enter and ceremony commences in front of the Ancestor Shrine.

3. Ant’s family offer the gifts(fruit, cake, tea, wine jewellry & roast pig) and ask permission to bring bride into their family.

4. Gifts opened and accepted before Angela then enters. There is a Prayer and Song for blessing from God and Ancestors.

5. Angela receives jewellry before the wine is offered (from the Tea Pot) to both sides of the family with an exchange of presents and toasts.

6. All enjoy a lunch with some impromptu music.

Thanks so much for inviting me down - fabulous to capture and a pleasure to witness.

Cookie Monster & Abby - Sunshine Coast Photographer

I had the best afternoon with Abby. My work reminded Abby’s Mum of a friend in the US - so though they live in Tasmania they come to the coast often for holidays to visit Grandma. As you can see a beautiful afternoon both in the fields and on the beach. So many more images hard to select a few for here. Thanks so much - gorgeous girl with so much personality!!!!

Caloundra Love Shoot - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Worth the wait - and wait we did for a clearish day - 4 weekends from memory! Jim & Amy live in Brisbane, Amy is from the US and they are getting married in Boston in June - wanted some images to reflect this time of their lives in Australia. We had a perfect afternoon and they even got wet as they have been learning to surf - not massive waves but still lots of fun. So stinkin’ cute! Thanks guys it was an absolute pleasure and all the best for your wedding.

Hi Jodi, The pictures are amazing! Amy and I cannot believe how great they turned out.  We’re currently in the process of sharing the photos with our family. We cannot wait to get our hands on the real thing.
Thank you so much once again for a great job!
Jim
p.s. Your photos were so amazing that it caused no less than two family members to cry after viewing it on the website!

Stormy Days - Sunshine Coast Photographer

These gorgeous sisters booked a session for their Mum’s birthday. We had such a good time - seriously these ladies just laughed and smiled the entire session. Clever clothes choices brought the shoot together and the orange on the beach against the storm clouds looks fabulous. Yes we got a little wet at the end though worth it - some great memories for Mum.

Love Shoot + Pets - Noosa Portrait Photographer

Had the best afternoon with Karla & Phil. They wanted some images at home with their pets doing what they do best - chasing balls, jumping and catching water - a few mossies joined us as well. Just love the way Karla smiles and laughs. Thanks for welcoming me into your funky home. Their fabulous wedding is fast approaching - can’t wait.
