Wet Wet Wet Sydney - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Happy New Year to all!!!! Thought my first post for 2010 should be my wee kids - though still have a few weddings from last year to blog. So our 10 days in Sydney so far have been mostly WET. Not complaining - nice to have a break, sleep in and not do too much. We always go on a Ferry trip from Manly though usually better weather conditions. I have plenty of images of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge though I think this one coming in with all the misty rain is one of my favourites.

Not too much beach this trip so have to throw in a couple of window-lit portraits of the three monkeys. Would love to say they are always angels like in the B&W’s though the colour portraits are closer to the truth. Back to wedding posts tomorrow - trying to catch up before my first wedding of the year this weekend. Of course holidays finish for me soon with orders/albums flooding in - yes everyone is on holidays and it seems to be the best time to sit and finalize their selections.

Can’t wait for all the wonderful clients and weddings this year will bring.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Hen & Bucks

Lily & Marosh opted to have their Hen & Bucks a couple of days before the wedding - most guests travelled from interstate and overseas so it was good timing. The ladies were pampered at Ikatan Day Spa - The Rolling Dolmade supplying delicious treats to go with the champagne. Lily spent the early part of the day on the phone as you can see. The boys enjoyed a round of golf on the world class course with cold beer. The wedding tomorrow…….

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Portrait Sessions

This will be the first of three maybe four posts to cover the wedding of Lily & Marosh at Hyatt Regency Coolum. I did their Love Shoot way back here. Lily thought it would be a nice gesture to surprise some of her guests with a mini portrait session while on the coast for the wedding - these are a handful of images from these sessions. Tomorrow I will cover the Hens and Bucks before getting to their gorgeous wedding day - and yes it kept me very busy!!!

Family Portrait - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Rowen obviously has great staff (of course he must also be a great boss) - this session is a Christmas gift from them. What a gorgeous family he has! We had a great morning at the park though it was a mission to get Ivy to lift her head for more than 5 seconds. But look at her gorgeous eyes when we did & I just love the toothy-peg image. Young Oscar was such a good bub and snuck in a nap as well.

Sunshine Coast Lifestyle Photographer

Gotta love seeing couples become a family. Melissa & Les were married back in 2005 - have included a couple of images which I shot on FILM - look at the lush green grass at Maleny. Now living on the coast with their gorgeous kids. Had a great morning hanging out trying to keep up with Master Cooper - though I do think Les worked harder than I - snacks, bubbles, swinging, throwing, bikes. Of course Miss Chloe did what new bubs do - sleep, eat and have a whinge - just stunning isn’t she - adore the last image. Thanks so much guys - pleasure was all mine.

Sisters - Sunshine Coast Portrait Photographer

These gorgeous girls wanted to surprise Dad with some photographs - mainly one of the three of them to hang beside an art piece they all did for him. These were the nicest sweetest girls - seriously we could have stayed all afternoon shooting. Thanks mum for choosing me to capture your girls…..

Meet Theo - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Look at his gorgeous baby blues……. I captured Gemma & Nick’s wedding earlier this year. So they managed all the big stuff in the space of 6-8 months - wedding, house and baby with Uni for both on top. Theodore is one of the happiest babies - Gemma & Nick have a very mature easy going approach to parenting and it shows. Congratulations and thanks for the honour of documenting this special time.

Love Shoot - Sunshine Coast Engagement Photographer

Luke & Melissa are gorgeous inside and out. One of the nicest couples eva - I could say this about all my clients actually - I am very lucky. These guys live literally right on the river so what better place to capture how cute they are together. We started in their home for something personal! If you think they look good wait until you see their wedding images……… Thanks for opening your home to me and putting up with my talking.

Maternity Session - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Lucky enough to spend some time with Sharon & Scott - new parents to be. She looks fabulous with only 4 weeks to go. Of course Scott just can’t wait to be a Dad - though has his graduation from the Police coming up also - nice and busy. Thanks so much guys I really enjoyed the session - too cute together you are!!!!

Newborn Noah - Sunshine Coast Photographer

I photographed Summer & Jay’s wedding in Brisbane in the dinosaur age (yes film) which was only 2005 - but seems so long ago now. A couple a scans from their gorgeous day to set the scene for the arrival of their firstborn Master Noah. He was very keen to meet them and arrived 5 weeks early - 7 weeks old at the session - though 2 weeks in gestational terms. Anyway he is absolutely gorgeous and thriving - mostly on the love from Mum & Dad. Gave Summer a little swaddling lesson and he settled and slept straight away - though HATED the idea of nothing on hence struggled with some of those arty/nude images. I think we truely captured his personality - had no problems making eye contact with the camera - how cool are some of these images - the last is undoubtedly my favourite from the session. So honoured Summer & Jay choose me to capture this special time for them - thanks guys.
