Meet Theo - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Look at his gorgeous baby blues……. I captured Gemma & Nick’s wedding earlier this year. So they managed all the big stuff in the space of 6-8 months - wedding, house and baby with Uni for both on top. Theodore is one of the happiest babies - Gemma & Nick have a very mature easy going approach to parenting and it shows. Congratulations and thanks for the honour of documenting this special time.

Love Shoot - Sunshine Coast Engagement Photographer

Luke & Melissa are gorgeous inside and out. One of the nicest couples eva - I could say this about all my clients actually - I am very lucky. These guys live literally right on the river so what better place to capture how cute they are together. We started in their home for something personal! If you think they look good wait until you see their wedding images……… Thanks for opening your home to me and putting up with my talking.

Maternity Session - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Lucky enough to spend some time with Sharon & Scott - new parents to be. She looks fabulous with only 4 weeks to go. Of course Scott just can’t wait to be a Dad - though has his graduation from the Police coming up also - nice and busy. Thanks so much guys I really enjoyed the session - too cute together you are!!!!

Newborn Noah - Sunshine Coast Photographer

I photographed Summer & Jay’s wedding in Brisbane in the dinosaur age (yes film) which was only 2005 - but seems so long ago now. A couple a scans from their gorgeous day to set the scene for the arrival of their firstborn Master Noah. He was very keen to meet them and arrived 5 weeks early - 7 weeks old at the session - though 2 weeks in gestational terms. Anyway he is absolutely gorgeous and thriving - mostly on the love from Mum & Dad. Gave Summer a little swaddling lesson and he settled and slept straight away - though HATED the idea of nothing on hence struggled with some of those arty/nude images. I think we truely captured his personality - had no problems making eye contact with the camera - how cool are some of these images - the last is undoubtedly my favourite from the session. So honoured Summer & Jay choose me to capture this special time for them - thanks guys.

Out of Office - Sunshine Coast Photographer

I will be out of the office from Monday 24th - Thurs 27th August. I will try to return emails and phone calls when I get a chance if possible when away - otherwise Friday will be the day.

It is that time of year again - August Exposure. 4 days of inspiration and networking.  I believe it is important to attend workshops, seminars and conferences that will challenge me, strengthen my business and keep the creative juices flowing. I try and attend as many as my schedule, family and purse will allow throughout the year and each time I come away refreshed, motivated and inspired to push my work and business to new levels.

Just this week I attended a AIPP workshop on DAM (Digital Asset Management) - file management, workflow, archiving.  As I don’t outsource any of my work and continually try to streamline my workflow without sacrificing quality I am always open to any little edge to improve my workflow.  Being a member of the AIPP enables me to attend workshops by the experts - also great for networking with other photographers.

So after this week away it is flat chat for weddings - I am very excited to show off my super clients!!!!!

Of course a post needs an image (or 4) - my youngest Lucy. Who said you couldn’t get sunflare inside!!!! She is a very funny kid - need a sense of humour when your #4 I am sure. Lovin the dreamy soft look of these. Too cute. She will have a great time with Dad while I’m gone.

Twins - Sunshine Coast Newborn Photographer

Remember this gorgeous bump I posted here! Well these little ladies are out and about. Melanie and Steven are the sweetest people and just smitten with their girls. Steven seriously just laughs and smiles his way through it - he finds it quite amusing to date. They have labelled the girls “the good one” and “the bad one” - which means their personalities are already more than evident - though of course not in the following images. They are just divine and I love their little profiles. What an absolute pleasure to capture this family unit - Bella the dog included.

Bribie Island Love Shoot - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

WOW what a perfect day for this session - yes a couple of weeks ago now (trying to catch up on the blog). Bianca and Steven are getting married later this year - should be great. But for now here are some of my favourites from their Love Shoot - had to bring their baby of course - little miss Chloe. The second image is one of my all-time favourite dog portraits - just love it. We walked and talked - I love to talk - and had a great afternoon. Thanks guys!

Portrait Session - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Claire and Tim booked in for a portrait session because they really liked my style of photography and they live in a funky house converted from a hall. The house was just brilliant and Claire and Tim have carefully selected furnishings to respect the era - lots of 2nd hand store cruising. Just loved it - very cool - and the processing of a couple images is to reflect this. Of course their two cats and dog had to have a look in - while Claire’s favourite pastimes include reading (look at those books) and the piano while Tim is a chief at The Spirit House. Thanks so much for inviting me into your home guys!

TWINS - Sunshine Coast Maternity Photographer

WOW what an introduction to motherhood - twins. Melanie and Steven introduced me to their beautiful girls yesterday - but firstly here is her maternity session. She is glowing and the clever girl wore Steven’s wedding shirt for some of the images - so sentimental just love that idea and what those images represent. As you can see Steven is smitten and of course even more so now……..

Jess & Chris’s Love Shoot - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Another gorgeous afternoon perfect for Jessica & Chris’s Love Shoot. These guys are so sweet - my job was pretty easy. The only thing Jess asked for at the start was maybe an image with a pelican in it ……….. mmmm of course I aim to please but not a easy request that one. It was literally after all the gear was packed away walking back to the cars we spotted this photo opportunity. He happily obliged for a couple of frames.

Thanks for a great afternoon guys and looking forward to the wedding in September.
