The Boat Shed Restaurant - Maroochydore Wedding Photographer

Another fabulous couple for me to capture on their special day. Katie & Gareth created a beautiful colourful wedding. Evalyn Parsons styled the girls hair. Katie looked stunning with the splash of bright red lips, her gorgeous eyes and bubbly personality. We had way too much fun on the beach though a little windy. The Boat Shed Restaurant is one of the best restaurants both for food but especially the locale - nothing like it on the coast - we love to dine here ourselves.  They had a perfect afternoon/night to take it all in. Thanks for having me!

Hi Jodi.

How are you?  Well we are back from our honeymoon in tropical Fiji and we had a blast!  We want to thank you for the great job you did on our wedding.  We had such a great time and it wouldn’t have been complete with out a great photographer, which is what you are. Thanks once again for making our special day so relaxing and enjoyable.  Talk soon, Katie and Gareth Foster

Wet Wet Wet Sydney - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Happy New Year to all!!!! Thought my first post for 2010 should be my wee kids - though still have a few weddings from last year to blog. So our 10 days in Sydney so far have been mostly WET. Not complaining - nice to have a break, sleep in and not do too much. We always go on a Ferry trip from Manly though usually better weather conditions. I have plenty of images of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge though I think this one coming in with all the misty rain is one of my favourites.

Not too much beach this trip so have to throw in a couple of window-lit portraits of the three monkeys. Would love to say they are always angels like in the B&W’s though the colour portraits are closer to the truth. Back to wedding posts tomorrow - trying to catch up before my first wedding of the year this weekend. Of course holidays finish for me soon with orders/albums flooding in - yes everyone is on holidays and it seems to be the best time to sit and finalize their selections.

Can’t wait for all the wonderful clients and weddings this year will bring.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Coolum Wedding Photographer

So we reach the finale of Lily & Marosh’s Wedding. We had minimum time for the photo shoot (which I think Lily would have skipped if possible) though doesn’t she look gorgeous. Both Lily & Marosh are surgeons hence very practical straight forward people - she amazed when she said she was going to get a sleep in on her wedding day!!!!!!!!!  We were transported around the resort and captured some great images - so natural and relaxed just as they are. Vicki Nelis returned to create her gorgeous hair and make-up to go with her antique inspired dress with a spin on the traditional style - care of Couture Designer Paul Hunt. As mentioned in the previous post Lo from Mask Events & Melissa from Flourish Design created a stunning oriental themed reception. Guest enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and canapes with a live jazz band before Lily & Marosh made their entrance. The wedding was almost as fabulous as Lily & Marosh themselves - thanks so much for having me.

NB. Last post for 2009 - off to watch the fireworks in Manly! Hope you all have a wonderful celebration to bring in the New Year.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

WOW what a day this was. Everything was just stunning! I’ll start with some of the floral details and ceremony styling - Melissa from Flourish Designs and Lo from Mask Events - besides being gorgeous gals are very talented at what they do. A stunning bouquet, custom made wicker arch, a range of crystal cut vases, strings of beads and moss - wait till the reception. The ceremony site transformed into a casual area for High Tea. The Hyatt really knows how to cater to your every need - different stations for scones/muffins, sandwiches, fruit, desserts & drinks - just perfect. Lily wore a Paul Hunt designer wedding gown, Trish from TF Makeup her high calibre work as always while Vicki Nelis created her up-style. The very talented Bill Scurry delivered a memorable ceremony with his trademark charm. Tomorrow will see their short photo session, her second designer outfit and the cocktail hour before the reception.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Hen & Bucks

Lily & Marosh opted to have their Hen & Bucks a couple of days before the wedding - most guests travelled from interstate and overseas so it was good timing. The ladies were pampered at Ikatan Day Spa - The Rolling Dolmade supplying delicious treats to go with the champagne. Lily spent the early part of the day on the phone as you can see. The boys enjoyed a round of golf on the world class course with cold beer. The wedding tomorrow…….

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Portrait Sessions

This will be the first of three maybe four posts to cover the wedding of Lily & Marosh at Hyatt Regency Coolum. I did their Love Shoot way back here. Lily thought it would be a nice gesture to surprise some of her guests with a mini portrait session while on the coast for the wedding - these are a handful of images from these sessions. Tomorrow I will cover the Hens and Bucks before getting to their gorgeous wedding day - and yes it kept me very busy!!!

Carlee & Shaun - Wedding Photographer Sunshine Coast

What a fun easy going wedding this one was. Carlee was radiant all day though a little nervous leading up to the ceremony. I am sure Shaun pretty much cruised through it all - if not you couldn’t tell. Their three boys are just gorgeous and the eldest Jai was the MC at 8 years of age - did a great job. Though time was allocated for some photos it was more important to Carlee & Shaun to spend as much time with their guests - I totally agree - a wedding is a celebration to be shared with family and friends. This was a huge party - thanks for having me it was great to be involved.

Family Portrait - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Rowen obviously has great staff (of course he must also be a great boss) - this session is a Christmas gift from them. What a gorgeous family he has! We had a great morning at the park though it was a mission to get Ivy to lift her head for more than 5 seconds. But look at her gorgeous eyes when we did & I just love the toothy-peg image. Young Oscar was such a good bub and snuck in a nap as well.

Noosa Waterfront Restaurant - Noosa Wedding Photographer

Andrea & Craig had a gorgeous sunny day to wed. Lots of family and friends traveling to Noosa to witness their special day. Ceremony and reception held at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar, we scooted off to Sunshine Beach for the last rays for the photo shoot. Love love love the colour scheme and the relaxed atmosphere.

NB. Last wedding of the year for me to shoot today though lots to still blog - some stunning weddings to come before it all starts again next year……

Maleny Wedding - Maleny Wedding Photographer

Elyse & Tim married at Mary Cairns Cross Park - very hot though stunning backdrop. These guys were so much fun - lots of laughs we had a really good time. And so cute together - more than obvious how they felt. Miss Sandy from Rolling Scissors did the girls hair and their Pastor, Gill conducted the ceremony. Tried to keep out of the Mid-day sun for the photos before their entry at On Mountain View for the reception. Thanks for having me - loved every second. NB the first young lady is Tim’s grandmother - just gorgeous.
