Party Time in Noosa

Sarah and Bill are amazing and their wedding was such a true reflection of that. Rain threatened all day but I dare say Sarah’s effervescent nature kept it at bay - sooooo much joy & laughter the entire day. Travelled from Bendigo (Bill is a wine maker - hence the party people) to celebrate on a cloudy though still awesome Sunshine Coast day. Thanks thanks thanks for making me so welcome.

Thankyou….sssoooooo much for making us feel so comfortable with the photos, they are beautiful!!! Can’t wait to see them all!!! Thanks again, you are an amazing photographer and great person!, and we are both so glad we had you on our special day

Love
Sarah and Bill

Film Is Not Dead - Melbourne

So I have done a post here shouting the praises of Jonathan Canlas and his Film Is Not Dead Workshop - which I attended in Melbourne January this year. Still have vivid fond memories - brilliant awesome amazing. So each day there was a photo session and here a select few of my favourites - digital can not touch film when it comes to skin tones. Most of these were shot my Contax 645 with Kodak Portra 400 while the B&W was on my Canon EOS3 with Kodak CN400.

Sweet sweet girls

Miss Eva has a gorgeous sister Isla - mum & dad were wanting some pics of Isla around the same age as we photographed Eva. First image is hung in my studio - everyone gets drawn in by her amazing eyes - look how big she is now. Thanks for having me out again guys - it was fabulous and your girls are divine.

#1 Attraction in Noosa - Noosa Dreamboats

Sandy and Michael recently posted a lovely few words about my wedding photography here - thank you just awesome. Of course I have nothing but fabulous things to say about them as well. I was lucky enough to photograph the first wedding ever with Noosa Dreamboats and it is always an absolute pleasure to cruise the Noosa river in first class style with skipper Michael. Thought I would post a couple of images of the ever-smiling man himself - assisting the brides, waving to every second person on the water (he seems to know everyone) and generally just doing what he loves to do. Seriously this is the BEST & ONLY way to travel in Noosa - some food for thought for all the lovely couples getting married in Noosa - or anyone looking for something exhilarating and different. Love your work guys.

18

My stunning gorgeous Danica turned 18 today. She is super special and words are not enough. LOVE YOU

5 Star Tropical Elegance in Noosa

Julia and Stuart certainly had a fabulously stunning day. Julia’s dress to die for while the reception at Rickys, styled with a hint of vintage, looked amazing. Kim from Weddings of Noosa ensured everything was perfect - from stunning florals, drinks on the beach and cruising up the Noosa River at sunset. Such an honour to be the one to capture all the joy - wish you both nothing but bliss.

Jodi, They are just gorgeous, you absolutely captured the overwhelming joy and love of the day. You did an amazing job of doing so with out us even being aware. Stu and I rave about our experience with you (even before we saw the pics). Our friends have told us their experience with photos and it being long and tiring. We couldn’t even recall posing, just feeling great, laughing and having fun! We truly loved our time with you and our wedding party for the pics. You instantly made us feel comfortable. Thank You again Julia & Stuart

How fabulous are my clients! Seriously it was my absolute privilege to capture Sundays wedding at Spicers Clovelly Estate - and then they turn around and present this gorgeous gift each to myself and Danica. So so humbled by their stunning generous souls. Thank You.

Curl Curl - Northern Beaches Syndey

Had the most refreshing swim today at South Curl Curl. Just down in Sydney for a quick 2 days. This picture was taken in January (my 3 kids at the pool about to be washed in).

Louise + Terry - Spotted Chook Montville

HAPPIEST BRIDE IN THE WORLD - seriously Louise smiled and laughed and thoroughly enjoyed her day like no other bride. I usually get extremely vervacious natural brides though Louise just took it to another level. Terry is english - they met in the UK - so lots of family and friends traveled to witness and take part in the celebration. Great location, good food and drinks, fabulous family and friends, stunnnnning wedding dress and you have a pearla wedding.

Jodi Thank you so much! They are spectacular! What a wonderful job you did. Everyone was really impressed with your lovely approach! Can’t believe that you got my dad to laugh in so many photo’s! Well done. Again thank you so much for making our day even more special. Kind regards Louise & Terry

Michelle + Andrew - Noosa Woods Wedding

LUUUUUURV  this wedding - seriously everything how I imagine a relaxed stylish Noosa Wedding to be. Michelle was a bridesmaid the year before for Louise (first image below) - another funky Noosa Wedding - I get so lucky. Andrew was emotional at times (love a man who shows it), Michelle stunning and always thinking of her mum who is no longer here (very special reminders - a stem from her grandmothers bouquet which her mother also had at her wedding, a candle in memory and her mothers wedding shoes box-framed on display at the reception). No photo shoot - yep thats  right - just a walk to join their guests on the Catalina for a river cruise to the gorgeous Rickys for the reception. Seriously an amazing wedding and one I thoroughly enjoyed capturing for them. SPECIAL

Jodi, Thank you so much for all our beautiful shots, they are really amazing and you have captured some really special moments, we had such a fabulous day. Thanks again so much for being part of our day, you truly have a gift and I wish you every success. Take care Michelle and Andrew
