Novatel Twin Waters Resort Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Toni & Patrick choose mid-morning at the beautiful Novatel Twin Waters Resort to wed. Seriously stunning day for it as well! Bill Scurry was the master of ceremonies. Patrick’s two young boys were a little overwhelmed at first though didn’t take long for them to start steeling the show. This was a smaller coverage than normal but we still grabbed some great images around the resort before they settled into a long lunch. Thanks so much for having me it was wonderful to witness and of course capture. All the best for the safe arrival of your bub guys - yes how amazing does pregnant Toni look…………..

Casuarina Gardens Wedding - Noosa Wedding Photographer

Brooke & Sedge married at Casuarina Gardens Noosa on a perfect Sunshine Coast day. I met the girls at their room at the Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa - enjoying strawberries and champagne. A short stroll across Hastings Street to the intimate ceremony performed by the super fabulous Bill Scurry. Bill used his charm to get the bulldozers on the beach to stop work for the 30 min ceremony!!!! Quick photo session on bright sunny Noosa Main Beach before jumping a boat to the River Deck Restaurant & Bar Tewantin. Such a pleasure to witness as well as capture their beautiful day - thankyou.

Maleny Manor - Maleny Wedding Photographer

You may recognize this stunning couple from their Love Shoot here - speed boat on the river one of my favourite sessions. Nina is seriously one of the nicest genuine girls I have met - work related or otherwise. Bruce as you can see is the gorgeous man by her side. Nina is Danish, Bruce is South African, they met in the UK and moved out to Australia last year. So their gorgeous day in Maleny was celebrated with mostly overeseas visitors who enjoyed both the heat of our sun leading up to the wedding then a cooler day with rain on and off at the Manor. I LOVE the colour palette Nina has put together. Mondo Floral Designs come up with something different and amazing on a consisitent basis, Bill Scurry is undoubtedly the best in the business, Maleny Manor always magical and Paul from Rockin U Wild has perfect taste in music. I have really gotten to know Nina through not only the Love Shoot but regular emails and the day was seriously just like being at a good friends - hence the beautiful natural images. Thanks again for the pleasure of capturing your day - stunning.

Wowweee, the photos are beautiful! We both had big grins on our faces looking through them, they are just gorgeous – particularly love some of the black and white ones, so classic! The only difficulty will be choosing our favourites as they are all so stunning! So excited, I love the photos! Thank you so much Jodi.

Cheers Nina

NB. Big apologies to those who have contacted my via email with no reply - we returned from Sydney with our internet down and just fixed today. Will be trying to catch up on the blog also.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

WOW what a day this was. Everything was just stunning! I’ll start with some of the floral details and ceremony styling - Melissa from Flourish Designs and Lo from Mask Events - besides being gorgeous gals are very talented at what they do. A stunning bouquet, custom made wicker arch, a range of crystal cut vases, strings of beads and moss - wait till the reception. The ceremony site transformed into a casual area for High Tea. The Hyatt really knows how to cater to your every need - different stations for scones/muffins, sandwiches, fruit, desserts & drinks - just perfect. Lily wore a Paul Hunt designer wedding gown, Trish from TF Makeup her high calibre work as always while Vicki Nelis created her up-style. The very talented Bill Scurry delivered a memorable ceremony with his trademark charm. Tomorrow will see their short photo session, her second designer outfit and the cocktail hour before the reception.

Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

WOW what a visually stunning wedding Celica & Simon put on - great couple with fabulous family & friends from around the globe. The Sculpture Garden at the Maroochy Botanical Gardens provided a perfect backdrop on a very HOT mid-morning. Lisa from Make-up 4 Brides did a great job with make-up and hair, Celica’s glorious dress came from Spain, Liz from A Sculpted Leaf the elegant bouquets and the ever talented Bill Scurry conducted the perfect ceremony. They had an intimate relaxing lunch up on the range at Le Relais Bressan. Thanks guys - it was a pleasure.

Cotton Tree Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Finally posting Natasha & John’s gorgeous wedding day - you may remember them from their Love Shoot here. Kylie-Jane did a great job with the make-up, Bill Scurry conducted a fantastic ceremony (as per usual) at Cotton Tree jetty before lunch at Platinum. I scooted home for a break and returned for their departure via boat for some pics at the Maroochy River mouth. Stunning afternoon as you can see. They were then ferried across the mouth to Twin Waters (quite a bit of spray and Natasha said they were quite wet by the end of  it!!!!).  Love these intimate though casual affairs - I really had a great time and think the images reflect their day perfectly. Thanks again for having me.

Louise & Matt - Mooloolaba Wedding Photographer

This gorgeous country couple married on top of Alexandra Headland on a perfect day. Louise and Matt have been friends then a couple for some time - travelled together OS so the marriage thing is going to be a breeze. Melissa from Image Styler did a great job on the girls hair and make-up - loved the up-styles on Louise’s sisters. Bill Scurry conducted a memorable ceremony as always. Some images along Mooloolaba beach before the reception at 4th Floor. Louise made her cake as well - clever chickadee. Had such a good time with these guys - haven’t seen the good ol’ Passion Pop in a while, her Mum gave her this ring on the day, these are some of my fav bride portraits (how happy does she look), and Louise’s sister is a keen photographer who snapped away on her polaroid. Thanks so much for an awesome afternoon…..

SWEEEET Love Shoot- Sunshine Coast Photographer

Sweet weather, sweet session, sweet boat and a sweeeet couple. We had the perfect afternoon to take out Nina & Bruce’s newly acquired boat. I was honoured to be the very first guest - yes that new!!! Love Shoots ensure the couple get comfortable in front of my lense and we get to know each other before the big day. The first image was the second frame of the session - so as you can imagine we had a great time and it was effortless. Gorgeously cute couple - Nina (Enligh/Danish) and Bruce (South African) meet in the UK and now call Australia home. They walked on water, basked in the sun, had a confrontation with a sand bar and totally enjoyed themselves - I’m sure it was because of the new boat and perfect conditions on the river not my playful wit & charm!  Nina and I are very excited about their November wedding (she is contagious - too happy if there is such a thing) oops and of course dashing Bruce is as well. Thanks guys - great afternoon.

Gemma & Nick - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

So by the sun you can tell this wedding was NOT this weekend on the Sunshine Coast. Our Easter has and still is very wet. Gemma & Nick were hoping for sun though it took a while to burst through the rain and hence had the ceremony re-located to the house on Alex where the reception was going to take place. And of course the sun came out in time!!!! This gorgeous couple have been friends forever and was no surprise to anyone when they wed. It was a little sooner than planned - yes they are expecting a bub in a couple of months. Gemma absolutely glowed all day - one of the happiest brides ever - and Nick cruised along with a permanent grin as well. Trish from TFMakeup produced her stunning work as usual and young Bill Scurry officiated the ceremony. So these guys are testing the limits - baby, wedding, studying and just bought a house - my head is spinning though they have amazing support from their families. Congratulations Gemma & Nick.
