Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Coolum Wedding Photographer

So we reach the finale of Lily & Marosh’s Wedding. We had minimum time for the photo shoot (which I think Lily would have skipped if possible) though doesn’t she look gorgeous. Both Lily & Marosh are surgeons hence very practical straight forward people - she amazed when she said she was going to get a sleep in on her wedding day!!!!!!!!!  We were transported around the resort and captured some great images - so natural and relaxed just as they are. Vicki Nelis returned to create her gorgeous hair and make-up to go with her antique inspired dress with a spin on the traditional style - care of Couture Designer Paul Hunt. As mentioned in the previous post Lo from Mask Events & Melissa from Flourish Design created a stunning oriental themed reception. Guest enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and canapes with a live jazz band before Lily & Marosh made their entrance. The wedding was almost as fabulous as Lily & Marosh themselves - thanks so much for having me.

NB. Last post for 2009 - off to watch the fireworks in Manly! Hope you all have a wonderful celebration to bring in the New Year.

Hyatt Regency Coolum Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

WOW what a day this was. Everything was just stunning! I’ll start with some of the floral details and ceremony styling - Melissa from Flourish Designs and Lo from Mask Events - besides being gorgeous gals are very talented at what they do. A stunning bouquet, custom made wicker arch, a range of crystal cut vases, strings of beads and moss - wait till the reception. The ceremony site transformed into a casual area for High Tea. The Hyatt really knows how to cater to your every need - different stations for scones/muffins, sandwiches, fruit, desserts & drinks - just perfect. Lily wore a Paul Hunt designer wedding gown, Trish from TF Makeup her high calibre work as always while Vicki Nelis created her up-style. The very talented Bill Scurry delivered a memorable ceremony with his trademark charm. Tomorrow will see their short photo session, her second designer outfit and the cocktail hour before the reception.

Cooroy Botanical Gardens - Noosa Wedding Photographer

WOW - look at these guys! Michelle & Roscoe married at the Cooroy Botanical Gardens, in the amphitheatre on a perfect day. Trudy from Events by Design co-ordinated every little detail - it was a pleasure to be involved. Trish from TF Make-up stella work as always and Vicki Nelis styled the hair. Terrianne from Mondo Floral Designs always creates gorgeous floral pieces - and the reception at the Spirit House looked amazing. Note the simple addition of a ribbon and flowers in the hair in place of the mantilla for a different look for the photographs - too clever Michelle! Ebb Waterfront Dining & Cellar - Maroochydore Wedding Photographer

Sooooo glad Jane and Andrew chose me to capture their special day! How elegant does she look - just stunning. Married at Stella Maris Catholic Church in Maroocydore, with photos down the river before joining the celebration at Ebb. iblossom created the stunning flowers, Pru from Pru Edwards Make Up Artist gorgeous work as always and Vicki Nelis styled the hair. Had a good time with their family and friends as well - great bunch of people. Thanks for having me - great couple + beautiful day = awesome photographs.

Noosa Main Beach - Noosa Wedding Photographer

Have a wedding today at Noosa and thought I would show some of the gorgeous details from the last wedding I shot in Noosa recently. Because of confidentiality/privacy only detail images will be posted on the net. But just have a look at the styling Kim from Weddings of Noosa created - the theme was relaxed and elegant - perfection!!!! Just love the mother daughter details. Vicki Nelis great hair & make-up, Sculpted Leaf the bouquets, Jacqueline Gray always flawless ceremonies, Emma from Cake Conversations a stunning cake, reception at Season Restaurant right on the beach with music by the Offenbach Strings. Beautiful intimate wedding with an amazing backdrop - thanks guys absolute pleasure.

Dara & John - Coolum Wedding Photographer

So cuffed when Dara & John chose me to photograph their special day. Everything was pure joy - Dara seriously could not have smiled or enjoyed herself more. She was and is just stunning and so so happy to be marrying John. I dare say John in his own quiet way was more excited than Miss Dara.

The lovely Trish from Tfmakeup did her wonderful thing as always, Vicki Nelis her soft elegant hair and Melissa from Flourish Design created her gorgeous bouquet. Her parents flew in from Canada to join John’s parents and his brother and partner. How sweet and intimate……. Dara’s only regret was her brothers not being there.

Photographer’s by choice do not work in the harsh mid-day sun - though I am extremely happy with these and can not imagine a more perfect day for them. Some champagne, nibbles, frisbee throwing and boccia followed the ceremony and photos on Coolum beach before they headed to the Hyatt for dinner.

Dara is studying here in Australia to be a doctor and I wish her and John all the best - brilliant day thanks for having me.
