Harrys on Buderim - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Just gotta love a wedding at Harrys on Buderim.  At their Love Shoot back here all Jessica wanted was a pelican maybe in a shot (which we managed) & on his big day Chris wore the first tie Jessica bought for him - Elephants on it (with trunks up of course for good luck). Appropriate for each to appear on the cake. Libby Urbahn delivered a very personal service and Jayden from Sunshine Coast Videography cruised with me all day (very easy to work alongside). Jessica wore a locket with her grandparents photos, her wee niece travelled from Spain (with Mum & Dad of course) & Chris’s younger brother read a piece from Dr Seuss with hat for effect - just a couple of snippets from the day.  Had a wonderful day watching these guys smile and embrace the joy - thanks for having me.

Morning Wedding - Mooloolaba Beach

Paula & Brad decided to treat their guests to breakfast overlooking the beach at the Mooloolaba Surf Club on a stunning day. The question is how early do you have to get up to get three flowergirls ready with their Mums who were in the Bridal Party for a 7.30am ceremony????? EARLY. This was literally a big party - one of the funniest bridal parties, we had a ball. Paula just could not stop smiling, she is so bubbly it is contagious. It was so easy going - definitely not work at all. Thanks for having me.

Pomona Wedding - Noosa Wedding Photographer

Kerrie & Jeff who reside in Canberra had a gorgeous ceremony on her parents property in Pomona. Perfect blue skies, lots of kids, beaming smiles, close family & friends - what else do you need for your special day. The reception was held at the Tewantin Noosa Golf Club - absolutely love that warm afternoon sun for images. Also loved the way these guys looked at each ALL DAY, you could really see how they felt about each other. Thanks for the honour of capturing the celebration.

Perfect - Caloundra Wedding Photographer

You may recognize Bianca & Steve from their Love shoot here - well now they are happily married! Had a great day to share with family and friends - Bianca seriously glided through her day - so calm, serene and composed. Nothing fazed her at all. Kim from Kim Image Specialist did a great job with the girls make-up and Evalyn Parsons her trademark stunning hair. Mel from Flourish Design created the amazing bouquets, Lo from Mask Events decorated the Sunshine Coast Function Centre and Megs from Megasy Cake Design did a fabulous job with the cake.

Thanks soooo much guys - I felt like a guest - loved it all.

Ebb Waterfront Dining & Cellar - Maroochydore Wedding Photographer

This wedding was soooo much fun. Sam & Chris met in Alice Springs so lots of friends from the Alice attended - spent some years there myself - party town so the wedding was much the same. Sam is a little pocket dynamo and was just so happy the entire day while Chris loves a good laugh. Ceremony and reception at the beautiful Ebb Waterfront Dining & Cellar, Kylie from KylieJane Make-up did a great job with the girls. We went to the river mouth to try and escape the wind - perfect for photos - love it. Thanks so much Sam & Chris for having me - great day!

Ebb Restaurant - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Let me introduce the gorgeous Rav and ultra-cool Ryan!!! Seriously these guys were a breath of fresh air - got ready together, had their photo session before the ceremony, entered the ceremony together, raffled off the witness duties and basically had the day they wanted without the constraints of tradition and convention. LOVED IT. Though they did return to Sydney for a huge Indian Wedding 2 days after before jet setting around the globe to Canada. Ryan is a bit of a photographer himself - which is great because he knew what I was up to (most of the time).

Ebb is a stunning venue for both ceremony and reception. Miss Trish from TFMakeup excelled again alongside Miss Sandy from Rolling Scissors - always stunning results. Melissa from Flourish Design created the visually unique bouquet and centerpieces. Celeste Frances Scott conducted a beautifully personal ceremony. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of this wedding and capturing a glimpse of this gorgeous couple - thanks guys it was a privilege.

“Dear Jodi, Thanks for being such an awesome photographer to work with. You made it easy and a lot of fun. We were both so relaxed around you and I think this shows in the photographs.” Ryan & Rav

Cotton Tree Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Finally posting Natasha & John’s gorgeous wedding day - you may remember them from their Love Shoot here. Kylie-Jane did a great job with the make-up, Bill Scurry conducted a fantastic ceremony (as per usual) at Cotton Tree jetty before lunch at Platinum. I scooted home for a break and returned for their departure via boat for some pics at the Maroochy River mouth. Stunning afternoon as you can see. They were then ferried across the mouth to Twin Waters (quite a bit of spray and Natasha said they were quite wet by the end of  it!!!!).  Love these intimate though casual affairs - I really had a great time and think the images reflect their day perfectly. Thanks again for having me.

Wedding at Harry’s On Buderim - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

This was a destination wedding for Linda & Paul as they live in Western Australia and family travelled from as far as New Zealand.  Linda had some little hiccups along the way - wrong dress delivered, then wrong alterations, change of hair and make-up after trials - though she calmly came through it all. Little miss talented Trish from tfmakeup did a superb job as did Sandy from Rolling Scissors - these girls never disappoint. Linda had a sweet little rabbit fur jacket (they are shorn like sheep and it grows back) - it was the softest thing I have ever felt. She also wore an antique bracelet and was given an antique handkerchief from Paul’s Mum. Gorgeous bouquet and table centerpieces from Buds on Buderim - she even included Geraldton Wax which only grows in WA. It was a stunning day - as you can see Harry’s On Buderim is the perfect place for both your ceremony and reception. Lo from Mask Events created the perfect setup for the ceremony - Black carpet instead of red wtih Black & White Flags as Paul is a Kiwi. Carolyn West conducted the service which was nice and relaxed - exactly how Linda and Paul wanted the entire day to be. Drinks and canapes were enjoyed while a mini photo shoot was done before the sit down meal. Ideas In Icing supplied the cake - 3 different flavours to cater for all tastes. A very relaxed though elegant wedding - just love the atmosphere of their day and the images are some of my favourite to date. Congratulations guys and thanks for having me.

SWEEEET Love Shoot- Sunshine Coast Photographer

Sweet weather, sweet session, sweet boat and a sweeeet couple. We had the perfect afternoon to take out Nina & Bruce’s newly acquired boat. I was honoured to be the very first guest - yes that new!!! Love Shoots ensure the couple get comfortable in front of my lense and we get to know each other before the big day. The first image was the second frame of the session - so as you can imagine we had a great time and it was effortless. Gorgeously cute couple - Nina (Enligh/Danish) and Bruce (South African) meet in the UK and now call Australia home. They walked on water, basked in the sun, had a confrontation with a sand bar and totally enjoyed themselves - I’m sure it was because of the new boat and perfect conditions on the river not my playful wit & charm!  Nina and I are very excited about their November wedding (she is contagious - too happy if there is such a thing) oops and of course dashing Bruce is as well. Thanks guys - great afternoon.

Twin Waters Valentines Day Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

You will no doubt recognize Nadine & Cameron from their Love-Shoot posted here.  The date was set more for necessity than valentine sentiment -  two of the bridesmaids were taking off overseas for a couple of months. Would you believe a 5am flight awaited them the next morning - South Amercia. A beach ceremony was planned though the rain had other ideas….. Instead a new section of the Twins Waters Golf Club proved to be just perfect for the ceremony.

Julie-Anne & her team from Cloud Nine did a stella job styling the venue.

Kylie-Jane worked her magic for Nadines make-up while Sandy and her girls (Rolling Scissors) looked after their hair.

We zoomed around on the buggies, the boys had a swing and the girls were gorgeous. I always tell brides don’t be scared of clouds and rain - and these images show exactly why. All brides are radiant though you must admit Nadine is absolutely beaming - so easy to photograph - they both smiled, giggled & laughed the entire day.

Nadine and Cameron just returned from their honeymoon in Fiji - a little depressing having to return though stoked to see the photographs. Thanks soooooo much guys - brilliant day.
