Point Cartwright Wedding - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Jessica & Todd had a perfect day! The girls got ready in a unit overlooking the Mooloolah River and we watched the golf buggies transport guests to the ceremony site (NB great idea especially for elderly guests - we then used the buggies for the photo shoot). Trish and Shae from Tf Makeup ensured the girls looked their absolute best, Melissa from Flourish by Design the gorgeous bouquets and Darienne Davis conducted the ceremony with her usual charm. Big surprise was the Buick waiting to take them to their reception at the Headland Golf Club - no air-con but very cool….. Awesome day.

Maleny Manor - Maleny Wedding Photographer

You may recognize Tim & Ros from their Love Shoot here. On their wedding we started the day with rain though it cleared perfectly for the afternoon. Maleny Manor is just one of those special places - exceptional service, brilliant views and the atmosphere  is always perfect. Trish from TF Makeup great work as usual, Evalyn Parsons the gorgeous hair & Terrianne from Mondo Floral Designs stunning florals - these girls never disappoint. Another fun easy going bridal party - I am very lucky to attract the great clients I do. Had a ball thanks for having me.

Helen & Adam - Noosa Wedding Photographer

Another fabulous couple! Seriously had sooo much fun with these guys - the girls just gorgeous and the boys entertaining in more ways than one. Pretty much a Kiwi affair in Noosa - I think everyone travelled either from interstate or O/S. Trish from TF Makeup did a great job with the girls and Celeste Frances Scott delivered a wonderful ceremony as always. Photos on Noosa Main Beach before the reception at Bistro C. Helen & Adam were surrounded by amazing family and friends and their day was everything you could hope for. Thanks again for having me………….

Hi Jodi,

THANKYOU SO MUCH- THE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING!! I like them all- especially some of those ones with the boy and girl groups on the beach- very cool. It was so nice getting back to check all my emails yesterday and to sit down and have a look at the photos- I think they really tell the story.. We were very lucky to have you!

Will be in touch again soon,
Thanks heaps again for all your hard work on the day- we had a lot of fun,

Helen

Cooroy Botanical Gardens - Noosa Wedding Photographer

WOW - look at these guys! Michelle & Roscoe married at the Cooroy Botanical Gardens, in the amphitheatre on a perfect day. Trudy from Events by Design co-ordinated every little detail - it was a pleasure to be involved. Trish from TF Make-up stella work as always and Vicki Nelis styled the hair. Terrianne from Mondo Floral Designs always creates gorgeous floral pieces - and the reception at the Spirit House looked amazing. Note the simple addition of a ribbon and flowers in the hair in place of the mantilla for a different look for the photographs - too clever Michelle! So I have run out of incredible descriptive words for this day - check out Trudy’s Bridal Banter for more details.

Wedding at Harry’s On Buderim - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

This was a destination wedding for Linda & Paul as they live in Western Australia and family travelled from as far as New Zealand.  Linda had some little hiccups along the way - wrong dress delivered, then wrong alterations, change of hair and make-up after trials - though she calmly came through it all. Little miss talented Trish from tfmakeup did a superb job as did Sandy from Rolling Scissors - these girls never disappoint. Linda had a sweet little rabbit fur jacket (they are shorn like sheep and it grows back) - it was the softest thing I have ever felt. She also wore an antique bracelet and was given an antique handkerchief from Paul’s Mum. Gorgeous bouquet and table centerpieces from Buds on Buderim - she even included Geraldton Wax which only grows in WA. It was a stunning day - as you can see Harry’s On Buderim is the perfect place for both your ceremony and reception. Lo from Mask Events created the perfect setup for the ceremony - Black carpet instead of red wtih Black & White Flags as Paul is a Kiwi. Carolyn West conducted the service which was nice and relaxed - exactly how Linda and Paul wanted the entire day to be. Drinks and canapes were enjoyed while a mini photo shoot was done before the sit down meal. Ideas In Icing supplied the cake - 3 different flavours to cater for all tastes. A very relaxed though elegant wedding - just love the atmosphere of their day and the images are some of my favourite to date. Congratulations guys and thanks for having me.

Dara & John - Coolum Wedding Photographer

So cuffed when Dara & John chose me to photograph their special day. Everything was pure joy - Dara seriously could not have smiled or enjoyed herself more. She was and is just stunning and so so happy to be marrying John. I dare say John in his own quiet way was more excited than Miss Dara.

The lovely Trish from Tfmakeup did her wonderful thing as always, Vicki Nelis her soft elegant hair and Melissa from Flourish Design created her gorgeous bouquet. Her parents flew in from Canada to join John’s parents and his brother and partner. How sweet and intimate……. Dara’s only regret was her brothers not being there.

Photographer’s by choice do not work in the harsh mid-day sun - though I am extremely happy with these and can not imagine a more perfect day for them. Some champagne, nibbles, frisbee throwing and boccia followed the ceremony and photos on Coolum beach before they headed to the Hyatt for dinner.

Dara is studying here in Australia to be a doctor and I wish her and John all the best - brilliant day thanks for having me.

Nicole & Andrew - Mooloolaba Wedding Photographer

Nicole & Andrew married at the cute little Penny Lane Gardens in Mooloolaba (after I gave them the heads up). We had perfect weather though the sun drops very quickly this time of year. The talented Trish from TFMakeup did a great job as always and of course Sandy from Rolling Scissors delivered stunning hair as always. Andrew is a gentle giant though it was more than obvious how he felt about Nicole and vice versa. Very intimate and emotional ceremony this one - officiated by Lynette Gordon. After zooming around the spit for photos the reception was held at the Mooloolaba Surf Club - undoubtedly the best views in Mooloolaba - day or night. Truly was an honour to witness this union (long time coming if you ask Andrew’s Mum) and produce their photographic memories. Thanks guys.

Gemma & Nick - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

So by the sun you can tell this wedding was NOT this weekend on the Sunshine Coast. Our Easter has and still is very wet. Gemma & Nick were hoping for sun though it took a while to burst through the rain and hence had the ceremony re-located to the house on Alex where the reception was going to take place. And of course the sun came out in time!!!! This gorgeous couple have been friends forever and was no surprise to anyone when they wed. It was a little sooner than planned - yes they are expecting a bub in a couple of months. Gemma absolutely glowed all day - one of the happiest brides ever - and Nick cruised along with a permanent grin as well. Trish from TFMakeup produced her stunning work as usual and young Bill Scurry officiated the ceremony. So these guys are testing the limits - baby, wedding, studying and just bought a house - my head is spinning though they have amazing support from their families. Congratulations Gemma & Nick.

Mag Style Lingerie - Sunshine Coast Photographer

Well the family visitors have just left yesterday (took the sun with them) so back into the work!!! Will post some images of the Triathlon in a couple of days though I must get this session on. All ladies interested in a Mag Style Boudoir Shoot rather than the norm then these sessions are for YOU. Perfect for brides-to-be surprising their man on the big day, anniversary present or just to celebrate being a gorgeous female. Trish from TFMakeup (brilliant bridal makeup artist) and I have teamed up to offer these Studio Sessions. The following three gorgeous gals are volunteers - not models - one has two children. You get two make-up styles, two change of wardrobe and two different lighting styles. So ladies there are no excuses for not having a little fun and either being yourself or someone you are not. You can contact myself or Trish to schedule your session. Go on stop saying “One Day” or “I’ve always wanted to”.

Just to show it is not all serious, sexy & sultry - we have some laughs………

Karina & Clinton - Sunshine Coast Wedding Photographer

Well I have to share this most divine wedding from last month - have already updated my website with some images - just trying to find time to catch up with this blog. These guys have travelled the world and pretty much organized their special day from Lizard Island before moving back to the coast.  I feel so honored to call Karina & Clinton friends - sweetest nicest coolest awesome couple. Just loved the intimate nature of their wedding - which focused on an incredible venue, superb food, good wine and great company - sounds corny but they so pulled it off I didn’t want to leave. So my main girl Trish from TF Make-up did outstanding work as per usual. The Rolling Dolmade the only choice for Karina for catering - just sublime. And Clinton’s Dad, a renowned chief supplied a very impressive range of wines - I had to photograph labels separately! We headed down to Coolum Beach after lunch for a few images. Thanks guys for trusting me with your special day.

And just in case you were wondering or not sure YES Karina is pregnant - rather was - little gorgeous Sasha entered the world 2 weeks ago…. Of course I will post her images soon I promise.
